Hi,
there is a problem regarding the rendering of the Backbase button in the IE8 (also in the compatibility mode).
Please refer the Backbase explorer: http://demo.backbase.com/explorer/#|examples/button.xml
If you don't have installed IE8 please refer this screenshot: http://83.65.185.143/protozone/kk/bb/backbase_button_issue_IE8.png
Is there a hotfix?
thx

Appears to be some styling issue while showing a button only within the explorer demo on IE8. I tested this in another standalone testcase and did not recreate this issue.
Hope this helps,

Here is a screenshot of an application:

I could recreate this issue by removing all custom css styles. The broken button is caused by backbase css styles that are not compatible to the IE8:

My backbase version: 4.3.1 (build: 2008-10-28-14-40-49-Standard)
The buttons are displayed correctly in FF, IE7, IE6 (but not IE8). Do you have an idea for a hot-fix?
thx

Hi Kati, Official support
10 February, 2010 - 08:02 — SenakaHi Kati,
Official support for IE8 is provided from Backbase version 4.4.0. The reason why the explorer demo reproduces this issue on IE8 is because the application uses Backbase client 4.3.1, which we hope to upgrade asap.
Hope this helps,
-Senaka
