21 October, 2007 - 00:43 — AmoorThe sideBar widget is currently scheduled for release by 4.3 along side some other widgets and several effects and visual additions.
It was not really "removed" as the entire core and all the widgets were written from the ground up for the 4.x line. It is quite literally a different product innovation based on the the experience learned by us over the last 4 years of development becoming the AJAX company.
Sidebar in 4.1?

21 December, 2007 - 00:32 — AmoorWe have just released 4.1.2 and are already busy with 4.2 due end of Q1 2008, that's about all I can say about that right now.
4.1.2 will be avalible for download shortly.
You can get the sideBar by using some DIVs, SMIL and the b:accordion, creating the generic, skinnable implementation is what we will deliver by 4.3

I actually have the BackbaseJSF 4.3 library and the sideBar widget is not part of the controls, any idea why?
