One of the great advantages of Backbase is that it easily integrates with third-party widgets. In this example, we will demonstrate how you can combine Backbase widgets with the FusionChart flash charts.
FusionChart allows you to create animated flash charts for web applications. However, working with flash can be cumbersome, especially when considering cross-browser compatibilty. Therefore, Backbase has created its own fusionChart widget that will integrate the FusionChart flash charts to your Backbase-enabled application.
Additionally, the Backbase fusionChart widget will interact seamlessly with already implemented databinding within Backbase applications. This will allow you to create charts with data from a listGrid.
With over 20 supported animated charts, the Backbase fusionChart widget brings high quality animated flash charts to your application without having to learn the custom XML structure. It will simply connect to an existing dataSource, and automatically update the charts whenever a value is changed.
